Annastella Vester – Clinical Assistant Professor
Annastella was born in Milan, Italy. After high school she moved to France, where she received her Master’s Degree in Italian Literature from the University of Grenoble III. She received her Ph.D. in Contemporary Italian Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002.

Alessandro Cagossi
My name is Alessandro Cagossi. In Morgantown I teach Italian and I am enrolled in a PhD program in Political Sciences. I come from Emilia, a region in northern Italy. I graduated in 2004 at the University of Trento (Italy) as a sociologist. In 2002, I participated in an exchange program with the State University of New York at Binghamton (US), in the fields of political science, environmental policy and international relations. In 2003, as an associate researcher, I did research at the Andina University ?Simon Bolivar? in Quito, in the fields of cultural, subaltern and post-colonial studies. In 2005, I participate to the “European-Australia-Asia Pacific Nexus” (EAAPN) exchange program at the Griffith University in Brisbane (Australia)
focusing on Asian studies. Before arriving at Morgantown, in Italy I was working as a journalist on politics, economics, society, culture, entertainment and chronicles.
Fabio Capano
My name is Fabio Capano and I was born in Trento. On 2001 I took part on a mission of peace in Albania with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. When I was 23 years old, I decided to enroll Bachelor Degree in European, Political and Social Institution at the University of Trento. On December 2004 I completed my Bachelor Degree. I am actually enrolled in a Master Degree in European and International Studies at the University of Trento. At moment, having completed my Specialist Degree’s exams I am here in West Virginia and I am enrolled in a MA Degree in Contemporary History and working as a Teaching Assistant in Italian.
Fabio Franch
Fabio Franch was born in Cles (Trento – Italy) and he is currently enrolled in a Master in Political Sciences. He has a Bachelor Degree in Economics (three years) and a Master Degree in Computer Science (two years). Fabio Franch was a tutor for Exchange Students in Trento. He also worked as a waiter, a doorman, a bookkeeper and an assistant at the IT Department of the Faculty of Economics of Trento. He was a case-worker in a summer resort. For a while, he was also an Italian lecturer at Abo Akademi in Turku (finland), here he went as an Exchange Student in 2004/2005. He liked playing soccer but he now prefers practicing Judo.
Beatrice Malvisi
My name is Beatrice Malvisi and I am from Florence. I obtained a Laurea in Foreign Languages and Literature (English, German and American) at the University of Florence, Italy in 1991. In 1994 I obtained an Italian MA at the University of Pittsburgh. After a few years in Public Relations for a fashion company in Italy, I moved permanently to the United States where I have been teaching Italian.
Francesca Zanoni
My name is Francesca Zanoni, I am 23 years old. I was born in Trento (Northern Italy). I’ve been studing Italian Literature, Latin and Greek since I was in High School. I’ve a bachelor degree in Modern Italian Literature and I am finishing a Master program in Comparative Literatures at the University of Trento. Here at WVU I am enrolled in a master program in TOESL. I am excited of teaching Italian to everyone who wants to learn more about Italian culture, habits and life!
