This four-week faculty-led summer program is located in Trento, a lively and historic university town in the Italian Alps, about one hour north of Verona. The students earn 6 credits for two courses, one in Italian and one in History. In addition to these classes and the planned field trips associated with them, the students visit Mantova, Bolzano and Venice. In Trento, local families host students, providing them with housing, breakfast and dinner.
Students who have completed four semesters of College level Italian (or their equivalent) are eligible for participation in this program. The courses offered during the summer program could be applied toward the minor in Italian Studies.
